AVON, Conn. — This week community members are invited to turn on their electronic devices and de-stress in their daily lives.
The Avon Free Public Library will be hosting a special program this week called “Reducing Stress Through Meditation” on Thursday, March 28th at 7 p.m.
Attendees will be able to join longtime meditator Asiri Hodari as he discusses the incredible benefits of meditation.

Hodari also introduces simple yet powerful proven meditation techniques that are explained and practiced during the sessions.
He attended Michigan State University as a scholarship athlete, where he earned a bachelor’s and graduate degree in advertising.
After a career in the printing and publishing industry in the San Francisco Bay Area, he earned a law degree from the University of Iowa in 1990.
He began his law practice in Columbus, Ohio, and currently practices law in Seattle, Washington, where he runs his own firm, Hodari Law Offices.
