Martha Stewart shares dessert recipe. Bridgerton The ambiance is amazing and I can honestly say I will be making this for every get together this summer.
On May 28, Stewart shared a perfectly colorful French dessert that you’ll want to make for any upcoming summer parties. She shared the recipe with the caption, “A French twist: bake meringues in a rainbow of colors. They’re crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and irresistible. Start with Martha’s chocolate version, then try our raspberry and orange variations. Get the recipe at the link in our profile. 📷: Mike Krauter.”
This recipe doesn’t require many ingredients, just basic ones like large egg whites, kosher salt (which Stewart and her team often use), white wine vinegar, and pure vanilla extract.
Now, the great thing about these meringues is that you can vary them depending on your flavor preferences (Stewart offers chocolate, raspberry, and orange options, so you can have some great variety right away).
This 5-step recipe is perfect for beginners to make alone, or as a sweet date night or family night activity. Remember to leave the meringues for at least 2 hours, or overnight, to achieve the perfect shape and flavor.
Stewart also shared some very useful tips for new bakers, like not baking on a humid day as humidity can affect the meringues, and that they can be stored in the freezer for up to a month. Be sure to take note.
