Martha Stewart, 82, shared her latest workout on Instagram this week, and it’s clear that the icon has been putting in some serious core training.
Martha shared a video of herself laying on a Pilates reformer and sweating it out. “Harder and more effective than it looks!!” Martha captioned the video.
In the clip, Martha is seen lying on her back on the Reformer’s slide, her legs crossed in the air. Next, pull her straps down towards her feet and move her body back and forth. Not only is this a great arm and shoulder workout, but it also strengthens your core (plus extra points for holding your legs in the air for added resistance, Martha! ). Basically, this woman is a beast on a machine.
Of course, Martha’s followers were excited to see her looking so strong. “WERK MARTHA👏,” one follower commented. Another added: “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s the fountain of youth.” And they’re not wrong. Martha definitely looks sculpted and glowing while moving during her workout.

Martha explains that she typically starts her day with a 20-minute treadmill workout, followed by yoga. “She loves practicing yoga to keep her muscles long, soft and flexible, and works out at least three times a week with a trainer,” she said.
When Martha isn’t working out at the gym or in the reformer, she spends a lot of time outdoors growing fresh produce in her garden. This helps with both her exercise and diet goals.
