This collaboration gives MADabolic members a comprehensive approach to achieving their fitness goals and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
Madabolic, a strength-focused interval training franchise, has launched a strategic brand partnership with nutrition app Macrostax. The collaboration aims to improve the integration of fitness and nutrition for MADABOLIC members by combining expert-designed workouts with personalized macronutrient-focused plans to help users reach their fitness goals.
Macronutrients, often simply referred to as “macros,” are the main components that food is made up of. The three main macros are carbohydrates, protein, and fat. Each macronutrient plays an important role in supporting the body’s daily functioning and overall health.
Through this partnership, MADabolic members will have access to a holistic approach to health and fitness that goes beyond traditional diet culture and quick-fix challenges. The integration with Macrostax is designed to provide members with the tools and education they need to sustain their gains, reach their goals, and maintain a balanced lifestyle without sacrificing the foods they love or their quality of life.
“Changing eating habits can be as confusing as adopting a new religion,” Brandon Cullen, co-founder and chief concept officer at Madabolic, told Athletics Tech News, “But by partnering with Macrostax, we believe we can make this transition easier, and we aim to help our clients develop small habits that will make a significant difference in their lives.”

Macrostax provides customized nutrition plans based on personal goals, whether that be fat loss, muscle building, improving overall health, etc. By syncing their training schedule with Macrostax, MADabolic members have access to nutrition plans that complement their specific fitness routines and support optimal body composition.
The app offers custom macro and calorie calculations, educational resources, macro-friendly recipes, direct access to qualified nutritionists, and progress tracking capabilities.
“You can’t overcome a garbage dump diet with training,” says Finley Funsten, creative director at MADabolic and author of The Original MADabolic Nutrition Blueprint.
“Tuning nutrition is a key component of any fitness journey and is often the missing link to results that people feel they’re not getting,” added Funsten. “While our previous Nutrition Blueprint was a great starting point, Macrostax takes our members’ fitness and nutrition journey to the next level. This integration aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing sustainable, impactful fitness solutions.”
The subscription-based app model, launched earlier this month, hopes to improve MADabolic’s member experience and extend membership duration while increasing revenue potential for franchisees.
MADabolic currently has 33 studios open and operating across the country, with over 30 in development, and while there are no initial plans to franchise, there are more than 80 more in the works. Co-founder Kirk Dewaele recently told Athletech News that the company is focused on a “steady growth trajectory.”
