Mabel has shared their moving new single “Vitamins.”
This British artist is a great success story and another link in a family that has defined British music for multiple generations. Mabel has always had an incredible passion for storytelling and her new single delves into her fundamentals.
‘Vitamins’ is out now and is her first solo release since 2022’s ‘About Last Night’ and follows her Black Sherif-backed collaboration ‘Zero’ from earlier this year.
Paying homage to some of her formative influences, “Vitamins” has a classic R&B sound, tackling ’90s tropes in the piece while overhauling them from a modern perspective.
Produced by Tommy Brown, who has worked with the likes of Ariana Grande and Victoria Monet, Mabel’s voice is an ode to seduction.
Mabel speaks from the heart as she vows to enrich every aspect of her lover’s life. She comments…
This song is my family and friends’ favorite song out of all the music I’ve made over the past few years. It not only reminds him, whom I love, to take care of himself, but also reminds him that I will always be in his corner during difficult times.
I also dedicate this record to my uncle David Cherry, who passed away during the production of this song. He’s a musician, and I felt like he was guiding me musically during the sessions, making me write braver and bolder.
Watch now.
