For Pilates fans who want to take their Pilates to the next level…
Redefining the modern workout, renowned London Pilates studio KARVE is opening in Dubai. The brand’s first branch will open on Alserkal Avenue this Sunday, 23 June, inviting fitness enthusiasts to get in shape and sweat it out with their unique Transformer Pilates classes.
The new KARVE Dubai will have the same New York loft-inspired studio as its Kensington location, with a focus on the studio’s signature low-impact, high-intensity Pilates sessions.
Not your typical Zen-like Pilates studio, KARVE promises a “new style of workout” with pulsating music and dim lighting. Using custom-designed Reformer machines, the 50-minute classes are fun and fast-flowing, focusing on strength training and boosting the metabolism through conscious resistance-based movement. Every session ends with five minutes of mindfulness and breathing exercises to help you relax.
A one-off class costs AED 160, while packs start at AED 725 for five classes, AED 1,500 for 10 classes and AED 2,800 for 20 classes. Currently, Karve is also offering a special inaugural membership package, where the first 100 buyers will receive unlimited monthly membership for AED 1,160 instead of AED 1,860.
Other locations on Alserkal Street
Ever-changing and endlessly exciting, the Alserkal district is brimming with art, music, food and wellness experiences. Earlier this year, Alserkal welcomed a fantastic new political and cultural library called the Fikel Institute, and is currently celebrating the 10th edition of its annual Reel Palestinian Film Festival.
And that’s not all…there’s also new homegrown Mexican eatery Lila Molino, Japanese hand roll bar Kokoro, a charming new bakery bkry and, opening later this year, Tashas Group’s new soulful fast food concept Nala. We can’t wait…
