That’s an album called. total meditation, a guided meditation project hosted by crunk legend Lil Jon. The sound you hear is the sound of thousands of music critics furiously reevaluating their “Best Albums of 2024” lists.
total meditation The film was created in collaboration with Grammy Award-winning producer and best-selling author Kabir Sehgal. In the opening track, “Welcome,” John reveals that he has a long history with meditation, claiming to meditate before performances or other activities that require concentration. “You’re probably wondering, ‘What am I doing here?'” John says in the song, addressing the skepticism many listeners may have. “Actually, I meditate a lot and have been meditating for years.”
talk to rolling stone, John discussed the milestones and life changes that led him to take meditation more seriously. “When I turned 50, things started happening. I started going through a divorce. Now we’re separated. And I started going through all the emotions of a divorce: all the anger and frustration and all the ups and downs. — Meditation calms my mind and allows me to see life and situations from a different perspective. ”
