Samantha Ruth Prabhu has awakened to her inner spirituality. The actress has always been a vocal advocate of self-care and wellness. And now, she has found a way to escape the chaos of the world. How? By seeking peace, wisdom and knowledge at Isha Foundation, a yoga retreat founded by Sadhguru. She documented her experience at the tranquil spot in Coimbatore in a series of photos on Instagram. Samantha took a break from her work commitments to join the crowds soaking in the path of silence and serenity. She meditated and spent time at peace with nature. Her itinerary also included feeding cows and soaking in the beauty of the place. She did it with a smile on her face and seemed to enjoy every moment in her rural surroundings.

In a thoughtful note, Samantha wrote, “Many of us are in search of a guru or mentor. It’s a rare privilege to find someone with the enthusiasm, insight and compassion to light up your life. If you want wisdom, you have to look for it in the world. It’s becoming easier as things are thrown at you every day. You think…you think this is normal. This is not normal. You have to work hard at it. And knowing is not enough. It is really important to put this knowledge into practice. Guru,” she added a praying hands emoji and tagged Sadhguru and Isha Foundation in the post.

It’s no secret that Samantha Ruth Prabhu is battling myositis, an autoimmune disease. The actress was diagnosed with the disease in 2022. Since then, she has been raising awareness about the condition. In February, Samantha debuted a health podcast with co-host Akresh. She spoke about her “scary experience” after her diagnosis. “I worked out, I got up early, I laughed a lot, I ate healthy, I worked out like crazy,” she said, stressing that myositis can happen to anyone, even those who maintain a healthy lifestyle, eat nutritious meals, and hit the gym regularly.
