Will the real mayor stand up?
After reading about the lawsuit filed against Mayor Springs for failure to pay for goods, I was struck by the number of AKAs. Mobolade has 10 names: Blessing Mobolade, Blessing Adeyemi Mobolade, Blessing A. Mobolade, Blessing B. Mobolade, Yemi Blessing Mobolade, Yemi B. Mobolade, Yemi Mobolade, Adeyemi B. Mobolade, Adeyemi Mobolade, Yemi BB Mobolade . Infamous gangster Al Capone only used his five AKAs: Scarface, Big Al, Big Boy, Public Enemy No. 1, and Snorky. Why does Mr. Mobolade, a businessman, need so many aliases?
Mobolade is no stranger to controversy regarding his business. Employees picketed Wild Goose in October 2020, and in 2021 the Department of Labor concluded that Wild Goose was in violation of the provisions of the Colorado Wage Act and/or the Colorado Overtime and Minimum Wage Standards Order. Ta. Now, Mobolade wants to toughen up vendors it claims have business partners “engaging in a pattern of fraud and deception.” Mr. Mobolade needs to take another look at his campaign ads that touted his business savvy, leadership skills and promise of transparency. People with good business acumen won’t find themselves in this predicament. Leaders take responsibility and do not look for scapegoats. Mayors who don’t pay their bills are a disgrace to our city.
It’s time for Mobolade to get real. Although he identifies as an independent, his efforts to take away TABOR have criticized Democrats. Mobolade became a U.S. citizen in 2017 and is likely to remain a Nigerian citizen. Perhaps that’s why he’s so indifferent to the busloads of immigrants being transported out of Denver.

Developers have too much influence
This city has lost its beauty. Developers come from all over the world to buy up land, tear down shopping centers and build more apartments.
TELL US — A headline in the Gazette informs us that the twice-rejected apartment project in the Garden of the Gods corridor is now moving forward. It often happens that a developer’s plan is rejected and then the planning commission approves the plan. Do developers have much influence? Is anyone thinking about water? Just ask.

A Different Approach to Mental Health Students across the United States are suffering from poor mental health. As a result, his grades deteriorate and his dreams for the future are in jeopardy. Even if you want to get out of this situation, when your mental health deteriorates, it becomes almost impossible to keep up with class. Still, the only solution they have is to study harder and get better grades.
I think it’s time for students to take a different approach, one that focuses on this problem from within. Mindfulness is a powerful technique that has been proven to reduce mental health. One way Colorado Springs students can do this, especially with the upcoming weather, is by reconnecting with nature. Other forms include controlling your emotions with nutritious and high-value foods rather than the junk food found in every city.

Worried about housing costs
I am writing to express my concerns regarding HB 24–1313. The bill would give the state the power to require communities to build high-density housing if the state directs it to lose transportation funding. This bill is yet another example of how Denver’s leadership wields an iron fist wearing the velvet glove of “enlightened progressivism.” The Democratic-controlled Congress has consistently introduced legislation that is oppressive to homeowners, businesses, and, oddly enough, pet owners. Please contact your state legislators and ask them to vote against this bill.

I’m 71 years old, live in rural Colorado, and am a registered political independent. I would like to ask a simple question to my seniors.
Why vote against your own interests?
Republicans have pledged to cut Social Security and Medicare.
Democrats have vowed to protect both.
The Republicans’ 2025 budget proposal would raise the Social Security collection age and eliminate Medicare as we know it by replacing it with a “premium support model,” transforming it from its current efficient and successful form to a broken health care system. It changes it into something similar to the rest of the .
The Republican budget plan would cut $1.5 trillion from Social Security, eliminate Medicare’s ability to negotiate drug prices, and eliminate the $35 copay cap on insulin.
On March 11, Donald Trump responded to a question from Joe Kernen and said, “There’s a lot that can be done on the entitlement side in terms of cuts[to Medicare and Social Security].”
By contrast, Joe Biden’s 2025 budget proposal includes language that says, “This budget supports the President’s commitment to protect Medicare and Social Security for this and future generations.” be.
He plans to pay for Social Security by raising payroll taxes on the ultra-wealthy (those with annual incomes of $400,000 or more).

I have read anti-Trump letters from authors over the past eight years, and I respect Sally Albert’s right to express her opinion, even if I disagree. However, I think you are crossing the line in this case.
So I would ask her to give examples of things that Donald Trump has done to personally harm or negatively impact her. Only one! If she can’t or won’t do that, people should realize the absurdity of her claims. It borders on hate, and it’s disgusting and dangerous.
