Meditation can calm us down, reduce anxiety, sort out our troubles, and… make us laugh? Leave it to the lovable, goofy Po (Jack Black). Kung Fu Panda Bringing a little Zen into our daily lives while also entertaining us, DreamWorks Animation has released this enchanting meditation video ahead of the film’s highly anticipated premiere. Kung Fu Panda 4will be released in theaters nationwide on March 8th and promises “more panda mayhem than tranquility.”
Why should you do this? To meditation and Kung Fu Panda
If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to have Jack Black’s Po do a guided meditation, here’s your chance to find out! The four-hour video is hilarious yet surprisingly calming. But don’t worry if you can’t sit still for more than 15 minutes. At any point in the video, you’ll enjoy mindful breathing, soothing music, and hilarious meditations as Po tries to connect with his inner self. It turns out even the most fearsome kung fu warrior can get distracted by random thoughts (and, let’s be honest, farts). When Po wonders, “How many inner voices do I have inside me?” the answer is, “You don’t want to know.”

If previous guided meditations have been too wacky or, frankly, boring, calm down and meditate with “Be Calm and Po On.” We can’t think of a better way to introduce this calming and beneficial meditation to kids of all ages.
What is Kung Fu Panda 4 All of it?
It’s been almost a decade since Dragon Warrior and “The Fast and the Furious” shook the world. Kung Fu Panda 3and Po has evolved in new and interesting ways: After defeating world-class bad guys with mesmerizing martial arts skills and sheer bravery in the previous films, Po must now go deeper into a journey of self-discovery. Kung Fu Panda 4When he is chosen as the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace, he must face off against a powerful new foe, the shape-shifting Chameleon (voiced by EGOT winner Viola Davis), who has her sights on Poe’s Staff of Wisdom and will stop at nothing, including magic and sorcery, to get it.
That’s a little tricky. Our favorite cartoon panda is a kung fu master and dragon warrior, not a spiritual leader. In this meditation video, we see his mind wander. His chant of “peace of mind” turns into “Dinner please, with peas and a sesame-soy glaze.” He counts slowly to four, then keeps counting. “Five, six, seven, eight, who do I thank? Po! Po!” he says, imagining adoring fans cheering him on.
Clearly, he needs to find his zen and fast. Luckily, Poe gets help from a resourceful fox named Jen (voiced by the fantastic Golden Globe winner Awkwafina).
