Khushi Kapoor and Ananya Panday keep up their weekend fitness routine with armchair pilates

Khushi Kapoor and Ananya Panday believe in maintaining a healthy and fit lifestyle. Namrata Purohit, the fitness instructor for both actresses, shared a glimpse of the pair’s intense Pilates session on Instagram. Ananya placed her hand on her forehead while Khushi supported herself by placing her hands on her thighs. They then repeated the same movement, bending their knees and drawing them towards their chest. Khushi’s legs were shaking from the effort it took to get through this gruelling workout, but she still managed to do it with a smile. Her exercise partner echoed similar sentiments and shared a nervous laugh. Tagging Khushi Kapoor and Ananya Panday in the post, Namrata Purohit added, “You guys did a great job. You engaged your muscles and moved right! Of course I had to share this fun glimpse of you all losing control of your limbs a little but hey, it’s all part of being healthy. We all feel shaky sometimes!”

Armchair Pilates increases shoulder blade stability, promotes core and upper body strength, and improves posture. This specialized physical workout is an excellent way to tone muscles, improve balance and joint mobility, and relieve stress and tension. About this intense exercise, the celebrity trainer writes: “I feel like the phrase ‘looks can be deceiving’ was made for Pilates. It all looks fun and games until you actually try it. When you do it, especially correctly, you feel an incredible burn and deep connection, and your little muscles start to fatigue and tremble.”

Ananya Pandai is a Pilates follower. Earlier, Namrata Purohit posted pictures of her trying out the Cadillac walkover for the first time and indulging in a solid workout session. Cadillac walkover is another form of Pilates and is considered a therapeutic exercise for deeper stretches. It also helps in improving your body movement and posture. Doing the Cadillac walkover and taking Pilates to an advanced level can also help you improve your sense of balance.
