Katrina Kaif is not only known for her acting and dancing skills but is also known as one of the fittest actresses in the film industry and continues to give us major fitness goals. In a recent interview, her nutritionist Shweta Shah opened up about her diet plan and said that she sticks to homemade food and carries it with her wherever she travels.
In conversation with yoga trainer Shloka, nutritionist Shweta Shah spoke about Katrina Kaif’s diet and how she knows her body so well. The nutritionist revealed that Katrina pays close attention to her body and knows it inside out. The actress is not one to just take opinions at face value or blindly believe what is said on the internet.
Shweta adds, “She is someone who wants answers for everything. Food is medicine and she understands the nature of food and how it affects the body. She knows her body so well that she only asks me about certain alternatives like sources of iron or which juices she should drink.”
According to a celebrity nutritionist, the ‘Tiger 3’ actress is a big fan of Ayurveda and she also practices several self-care practices like oil pulling, Shatpavali (walking 100 steps after lunch and dinner) and nasal cleansing.
Talking about his time working with Katrina, Shah recalled that her pita-shaped figure required her to have a cold diet. Till now, she is mandated to eat black raisins, chew fennel seeds and drink bottle gourd juice. When that is not available, Katrina has to have amla juice and mint-coriander.
She further added that the actress is an early riser and said, “She is not one of those people who only eats two meals a day and eats every two hours. She sticks to ghar ka khana and carries it with her. She is someone who eats the same kind of food.”
On the work front, Katrina was last seen in Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Imran Hashmi.
