The actor wrote to X, “Rapists, murderers and thieves all have strong emotional, physical, psychological or financial reasons for committing their crimes. No crime happens without a reason. And yet they are convicted and sent to prison. If you go along with a criminal’s strong emotional impulses, you will end up committing a crime that violates all the laws of the country.”
“If you are comfortable with invading someone’s intimate sphere, touching them without their permission and assaulting them, then remember that deep down you are also comfortable with rape and murder, because those are just penetrations and stabbings. You have to look deep into your psychological criminal tendencies. I suggest you start yoga and meditation, otherwise life will become a bitter and burdensome experience. Don’t harbor so much resentment, hatred and jealousy, free yourself 🙂”
Composer Vishal Dadlani, who has been a vocal dissident voice, had claimed he was willing to provide work to CISF personnel if they needed it after the attack. In two separate Instagram stories, he had said he would ensure Kaur was “paid work” once she was “sacked”.
“I have never supported violence but I completely understand why this CISF personnel’s anger is necessary. If CISF takes any action against her, I assure her that a job awaits her if she chooses to accept. Jai Hind. Jai Jawaan. Jai Kisaan,” he tweeted.
Based on a complaint filed by the CISF, Mohali police registered an FIR against Kulwinder Kaur under Sections 323 (intentionally causing hurt) and 341 (wrongful restraint) of the Indian Penal Code.
