About Joe Fisher Hypnotherapy
Jo Lavan is a clinical and solutions focused hypnotherapist with extensive international business experience. After many years working as a consultant and traveling the world promoting trade and investment, she became drawn to complementary therapies, particularly the power of hypnotherapy.
Recognising that the fast-paced business world can cause stress, anxiety and feelings of overwhelm, Joe decided to make a career change and after extensive training at Clifton Practice (CPHT) in Leeds he qualified as a Clinical and Solution Focused Hypnotherapist. Joe is a member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH), the National Council of Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the Complementary and Natural Medicine Council (CNHC).
Jo is also a Certified NLP Coach, Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, Certified Timeline Therapy Practitioner and Mindfulness Coach. She has completed ABC Level 2 Counselling, further deepening her ability to support clients. Additionally, Jo is a Certified Hypnobirthing Practitioner.
About Dr. Milton Brown
Dr. Milton Brown is a psychodynamic coach and a founding member and current CEO of Kirklees Local TV, which was established in 2011. He leads the organisation’s goals of promoting civic engagement, continually improving KLTV’s financial independence, striving for inclusion, celebrating diversity and making a positive contribution to social justice. His documentary filmmaking began in 2011 and highlights the different ethnic, social and cultural challenges faced by different groups in England.
Dr. Brown’s doctoral dissertation, Illegitimate children in Britain: An autobiographical and psychoanalytic study of navigating race and constructing identity in African-Caribbean British communities from the 1960s to the present. (2019), and the award-winning documentary Windrush: The Years After A Community Legacy on Film.
He is a decorated veteran who served in the Royal Air Force for nine years from 1980 to 1989, and is a qualified psychoanalytic organisational development consultant with 35 years’ experience.
