
Supernatural Star Jared Padalecki Speaking candidly about her own mental health journey, she recalled going through a “really rock bottom period” in 2015.
“I was so consumed by my thoughts that I was having dramatic suicidal thoughts. I called my wife and she was like, ‘Go home,'” Padalecki, 41, said in a clip from his podcast, “I’ve Never Said This Before,” due to premiere on Tuesday, June 25. “So I went home and went to a clinic for like two weeks, got checked out, and I haven’t had a single moment of suicidal thoughts since then.”

“I needed a complete reset,” Jared further explained in Tuesday’s podcast clip. people“I’ve been in this industry for 15 years, and when I go to an audition or on a red carpet, they don’t want to hear, ‘Jared, how is your day?’ or ‘Oh, today was hard, I couldn’t sleep.’ What they want is, ‘Oh, great! I’m so happy to be here!’ So I’ve been doing that for a long time, trying to focus on what’s best for me and the person I’m talking to, rather than just being honest.”
When talking about his current mental state, Jared admitted that he has good and bad times.
