For centuries, humans have been on a quest to unlock the secrets of longevity in order to slow aging and turn back our biological clocks. That holy grail has yet to be found, but hints are emerging, such as how certain nutrients can have biological effects. Mechanism of aging.

Vitamin D is probably one of the leading candidates, as it is important for building muscle and bones, which tend to deteriorate as we age.
