IM=X Pilates & Fitness Studio held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of their new 1,200 square foot expansion.
Owners Kevin and Lori Derella said they plan to use the new room for on-floor exercise classes. They completed the expansion in May. Coral Springs-Coconut Creek Area Chamber of Commerce June 12.
IM-X Studio is located at 4690 North State Road 7 in Coconut Creek. The new room gives them 3,000 square feet of space to offer a variety of fitness programs for people of all ages and abilities.
According to Kevin, IM=X stands for Integrated Movement Equals Exercise. Reformer Pilates“There’s a variety of workouts, strength training, flexibility training, we’ll help you tone your abs,” says Kevin.

You can take part in a variety of exercise programs to stabilise your core muscles and strengthen your upper and lower body. Individual and group classes are available. One exciting exercise device is the cycle tower, which combines indoor cycling with upper body strengthening and stabilisation. According to Kevin, the exerciser or reformer helps to stretch and tone all muscle groups.
Kevin and Lori are passionate about fitness and exercise and want to share what they have learned over the years with the community.Coconut Creek leaders and committee members attended the event.
