An esthetician has shared a helpful hack she learned as a student to help you rewind time.
She admitted that her biggest anti-aging tip may be the most difficult to understand, but it’s worth it in the end.
Reddit user u/smorrison27 answered another Reddit user’s skincare question on the social media website.
They were looking for “cheap and unpopular anti-aging secrets.”
As a certified esthetician, Smorrison has an answer.
She shared some of the lessons she discovered during her time in school.
She discussed her top three in a post to an online community that covers beauty-related topics like makeup and hair.
At the time, she had obtained her esthetician’s license the previous year.
It’s common to forget some information over time, but she shared some important information during the class.
“Of all the things I have been taught, the same three things seem to be at the forefront of every lesson,” she wrote.

The first is a very universal tip that most people know.
She advised readers to avoid the sun as much as possible and wear sunscreen daily.
You don’t even have to go bankrupt for that.
Amazon has several affordable options that offer good coverage at a low price.
Even if you don’t plan on going “out” in the sun, wear one for when you’re outdoors.
For example, you may be exposed to sunlight while driving or sitting near an office window.
The second one is “obvious” because it can reduce the elasticity of the skin.
She bluntly told me not to smoke.
Her final piece of advice was her “best personal advice.”
She told people not to touch anything on their bodies, including their skin, fingernails, and split ends.
The Reddit user added: “It just makes the initial problem worse and lingers.”
She acknowledged it will be an uphill battle at times, but said, “No matter what, just let it be.”
Although it seems helpful to many, she assured her readers that it is not helpful overall.
At the end of the day, use her anti-aging advice wisely.
