A 51-year-old woman has shared her surefire secret to getting rid of laugh lines in just one minute.
Kat James is a celebrity makeup artist and anti-ageing guru, but she’s not a fan of putting fillers and Botox everywhere because of the way it can distort the face.
Instead, she has devised a one-minute routine to get rid of laugh lines without the need for needles.
Nasolabial folds are lines that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth and are also called laugh lines or nasolabial folds.
These are a natural part of facial structure that often become more noticeable with age, and not everyone likes the look of them.
Luckily for anyone looking to get rid of them without any unnecessary effort, Kat has the perfect three times a week routine.

She shared a tutorial on how to rock the gua sha next to your nose and press down along your nasal grooves to loosen lymphatic fluid that causes swelling.
Gua sha is a traditional Chinese skin care tool used to massage the face to improve blood circulation, reduce swelling and stimulate lymphatic drainage.
Lymph is a clear to white fluid that is discharged from cells and tissues in the body, but when it builds up in facial tissues it can cause facial swelling.
The lymphatic system is a network of blood vessels, nodes, and organs that help drain this fluid.
As we age, this system becomes less efficient and fluid removal slows, resulting in more facial puffiness and wrinkles.
“What we do is release lymphatic fluid rather than remove it,” Cat explained of her technique.
After massaging the lymph nodes on the outside of my face, I was recommended to then use a gua sha to loosen the inside.
You can also rub it on the inside of your lips where the nose grooves form to massage excess moisture from the inside.
“It hurts a little bit at first because I really want to climb up here,” Cat prefaced.
Her internal massage techniques help release “any stress” that has built up in the facial tissues.
Why does celery juice have anti-aging effects?
Celery juice is rich in antioxidants such as vitamin C and flavonoids, which fight free radicals that cause cell damage and aging.
Its high water content leaves the skin hydrated and firm, helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
The anti-inflammatory compounds in celery, such as apigenin and luteolin, help reduce chronic inflammation associated with aging.
Celery juice is rich in essential nutrients, such as vitamin K and potassium, which support skin health and overall bodily function.
Drinking celery juice regularly complements a balanced diet and skin care routine to promote a youthful glow from within.
“This will help smooth out that area,” she said.
“Try this about three times a week and you’ll see a noticeable difference in the smoothness and depth of your lines.”
Kat also strongly recommends never putting fillers in the nasal grooves.
“I don’t really like fillers in this area because there’s a lot of movement,” she explained.
“There’s too much animation, so filler can appear at times.
“Putting filler in an area that’s going to be moving a lot is not ideal.”
There is also a risk that the filler will not be distributed evenly, resulting in facial asymmetry.
Also, using too much filler can lead to an unnatural, over-filled, or puffy look, which is not desirable when you’re trying to age gracefully.
