Eggs are a beautiful and versatile ingredient, perfect for experimenting in the kitchen. We often see unique and appealing ways to turn eggs into delicious-looking snacks. One recipe that’s currently taking Instagram by storm shows off a different way to present an omelet. In a video that is currently going viral, a content creator can be seen cooking an omelet inside a tomato ring. Intrigued? It certainly was! In the reel @the.shaba.kitchen, the vlogger is first seen pressing the mouth of her glass of champagne onto a tomato slice. She gently twists it to separate the middle part from the outer “ring”.

In this way, she will get some tomato rings and keep them aside. She chops the “cores” of her leftover tomatoes and mixes them with chives, all-purpose flour, eggs, salt, and seasonings. She places the tomato rings in the pot and pours the egg mixture into the center of each. She cooks these tomato and egg rings until the center is set and each ring can be removed separately.

“Is that two tablespoons of flour? How big is that spoon?”
“This looks amazing. I can’t wait to try it. I’m definitely going to add cheese and slices of Canadian bacon.”
“It looks delicious! I’ll try it.”
“I’ve done this with peppers before…I have to try this.”
“I start every video with great fear, but this one actually looks legit.”
“Everything seems fine, but I didn’t need the flour…I should have used cheese instead of flour. I made it without flour and with cheese…it’s really great!”
