When Cat Perfetti opened Stone and Sage in the former Lifecycle building, she explained that she had always dreamed of a store that offered metaphysical supplies. Stone and Sage, which opened in late 2022, began offering crystals, tarot cards, loose teas, oils, and spell kits. Perfetti, who owns Delaware Her Branding with her husband Mike, said she felt there was more she could do in town as part of her new business. On Saturday, Jan. 6, her dream of a holistic healing center became a reality with a ribbon cutting at 37 North Walnut Street.
“I’m so excited to be a part of Kat’s ribbon cutting for this new venture,” Downtown Milford Administrative Assistant Sara Rubright said just before the ribbon cutting. “This is such a great addition to our downtown. They’re going to offer all kinds of healing, including Reiki, therapy, salt baths, sound baths, meditation yoga, and more.”
Perfetti explained that the success of Stone and Sage led to the need for additional space that could offer a variety of therapies. She initially thought the old Milford Chronicle building would be too small, but once she stepped inside, she could envision a holistic center moving into its place. Inside the store, gentle music plays along with the scent of incense and oil. Pillows and calming areas are placed throughout the interior, as well as tools needed for specific therapies. The former office at the back of the building is now a Himalayan salt room used for halotherapy.
“This is something that will bring calm and peace to Milford,” Lebright said. “Kat shares stories of the transformation of people who find solace and peace through the use of holistic healing.”
Perfetti thanked everyone who helped make this dream come true.
Just before the ribbon cutting, Perfetti commented, “I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who came to support us today.” “Thank you to my amazing team for making this possible. This is something we did very quickly, in addition to Stone and Sage, and that we knew we would be able to do when Stone and Sage opened. It ran even faster than I expected. Thank you so much to my family and friends.
The new center’s hours will be the same as Stone and Sage: Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling 302-491-7868.
