Yvonne Shu took on a new role as president and general manager in May. Hill’s Pet Nutrition U.S. division. Hsu replaces Nicki Baty, who has served in the role since September 2020 and left the company to pursue other professional opportunities.
The company said Sue comes to the role as a strategic business leader with a track record of delivering significant portfolio growth across multiple brands during her 25-year tenure at Hill’s parent company, Colgate-Palmolive.
Su joined pet food company Hill’s in 2018 as marketing director and most recently served as the company’s executive vice president of global innovation and growth.
The company noted that Hsu played a key role in driving Hill’s growth and creating digital and analytics capabilities that have had a positive impact across parent company Colgate-Palmolive.
“Her strategic leadership has shaped our 2025 Strategic Plan and our efforts to deliver on those commitments,” the company said. “Under her guidance, Hill’s has delivered a new Brand Promise framework, a strong three-year Innovation Grid, the continued expansion of our digital ecosystem and the building of Hill’s data foundation.”
Sue earned her BA from Cornell University and her MBA from the SC Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
