Hilary Duff underwent acupuncture in preparation for childbirth.
The 36-year-old actress is pregnant with her fourth child and tried a baby-friendly treatment that involves inserting thin needles into specific areas of her body.
“The past week has been pretty slow and I’m trying to gently give my baby an eviction notice,” she posted on Instagram, along with a selfie of herself with needles in her forehead, head and cheekbones.

She recently praised Matthew for giving her all the help and support she needed as she prepared to become a parent again, but admitted having four children was a “wild choice.”
She wrote on Instagram: “Four kids is such a wild choice. And while you’re furious… [sic] After 4 days of shows, going to the farmers market with the kids late at night allows me to get some sleep without hearing mom, mom, mom, moom. I know this will only work because of you. ”
She previously admitted that having a large family means her home is defined by “mayhem and madness”.
However, she told Shape magazine:
“And then you get through the day and you’re like, ‘I don’t know how everyone is relaxing and eating and being happy after everything they have to do today.'”
Hilary addressed the concept of perfection while raising children, adding that she is “good at being disappointed” in herself while raising children.
Furthermore, she added: “You tend to think you have all the answers and all the abilities,[but]we’re still just humans.”
