Kayan Wellness Festival will be coming to Abu Dhabi for the first time next week.
The five-day event on Al-Fahid Island, from April 17th to 21st, will include a variety of activities and talks focused on both mental and physical health.
The layout is divided into different valleys, with dedicated spaces hosting exercise sessions such as yoga and Pilates, creative workshops such as art therapy, and inspirational talks such as tips for improving your sleep. Featuring a kids’ volleyball, the festival is a family-friendly event with activities suitable for ages 6 and up.
The talks will take place in the afternoon and evening, with Mo Gawdat, Dr Shefali and Deepak Chopra among the headline speakers in Aro Valley.
Tickets available include day passes, weekend access, and full event packages. Visitors can also choose between admission only (from 75 dhs) or all-access tickets (from 377 dhs). Here are some highlights.
Day 1 – Wednesday 17th April
There is no getting around this. Headline Speaker is the headline event on the first day. Deepak Chopra will leave for Aro Valley at 7:30 pm and will tackle the theme of living a ‘waking life’.

Day 2 – Thursday, April 18th
If you haven’t tried a breathwork class yet, the second day of the festival is a good place to start. At 5 p.m., the evening begins with a breathwork activation session with Lisa de Narváez, a consciousness teacher who leads workshops and retreats around the world.
Elsewhere, Dr. Shefali will lead the main talk, guiding listeners through the themes of her best-selling book. Day 3 – Friday 19th April
Friday is a great day to bring the little ones. In the Kids Zone, you can indulge in the “Art of Identity” from 5pm, create an aromatherapy stress her ball from 7pm, and do a colorful meditation from 9pm.

Day 4 – Saturday 20th April
If your free time shifts from bars and clubs to yoga studios and meditation circles, you may not find the opportunity to relieve stress with dance as often. If this sounds familiar, Ecstatic Dance from 6:30 p.m. might be right up your alley. The idea is to shake off any thoughts of self-consciousness and immerse yourself in the musical moment.

Day 5 – Sunday 21st April
Manifestation is one of the buzzwords in the wellness field, and on Sunday Marisa Peer will be heading to the main stage to answer any questions you may have on the subject. The therapist, author, and speaker will speak about the art of manifesting and how to use it to live an authentic life and realize your dreams at 7:30 p.m.
And if you’re really drawn to manifestation theory and the Law of Attraction, don’t miss Dr. Khaled Al Suwaidi’s talk on The Secret. Then finish the day with a grounding and meditation session from 9:30pm.
