Hickory City Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Christy Gwinn as the new Director of School Nutrition. Gwinn has over 20 years of school nutrition experience and will serve as the School Nutrition Director for Hickory City Schools beginning in 2022.
In his previous role, Gwyn has consistently exceeded expectations on annual performance reviews, demonstrated exceptional efficiency in executing work, and developed and implemented comprehensive training plans for managers to ensure they meet professional standards and comply with local, state and USDA regulations.
Mrs. Gwynn’s commitment to maintaining high standards in food quality, customer service and community collaboration has contributed greatly to the success of Hickory City Schools’ nutrition program. Her focus on providing balanced, nutritious meals and a pleasant dining experience for students has not only met but exceeded expectations, setting a high bar for the future.
