Now we need your help!
Best Recipes 2024: Party Edition
To quickly summarise, when Allrecipes launched our Best Recipe competition last year, we targeted our readers’ favourite ingredients: chicken, bacon, cheese, chocolate and potatoes. Readers voted for the top 50 recipes, the top two recipes from each category (10 recipes in total) were put into a cook-off in our Birmingham test kitchen, and a panel of expert judges selected five dishes as the “Best” recipes of 2023.

This year, we’re following the same format, but instead of focusing on our favorite ingredients, we’re focusing on recipes you’d find at a really fun party. The categories are:

Vote for your favorite recipe
Voting for Allrecipes’ Best Recipe of 2024 contest opens on Monday, June 3rd at 12:01am EST and closes on July 3rd at 11:59pm EST. To vote, click on your favorite recipe below and then click submit. After reviewing each category, you’ll be asked to enter your email address and you’ll have a chance to win $1,000.The best recipes on the internet and Cash? Living the dream.
Once the voting period closes, the top two recipes from each category will be competed in an official cooking competition in the Test Kitchen, where a panel of expert judges will decide which dish will win first place. The 2024 Best Recipes will be announced online on Allrecipes.com on September 4, 2024, and in the print edition of the Winter Edition, available on newsstands on October 18, 2024.
How to choose a recipe
Our editors combed through our vast library to select the 50 recipes above based on the recipes that were most popular with our readers last year. This was based on the number of hits these recipes got and their popularity on social media and in our newsletter. Allrecipes Allstars also pitched in and shared their top recipes in each category from the past year.
