Grace Center serves as a hub for spiritual growth and empowerment
April 24 marks the dedication of the Jesus Power School of Ministry and Retreat Center, affectionately known as the Grace Center, a momentous event that makes an important addition to the region’s spiritual landscape. It happened in Accra.
The Grace Center is a magnificent structure conceived to serve as a hub of spiritual growth and empowerment, with a missionary school, a prayer retreat center, conference and seminar halls, and facilities for camping and waiting on God. I am.
At the center of the center is a grand auditorium decorated with beautiful seating arrangements, providing a conducive environment for worship and fellowship.
Comfortable guest rooms, spacious conference and lecture halls, and an extensive library with over 10,000 service books cater to the diverse needs of visitors and students. A sanctuary and prayer garden provide a quiet space for contemplation and communion with God, while a cafeteria ensures guests’ physical nourishment during their stay.
The visionary behind this innovative project is Apostle Bismarck Osei Akomea, founder of the Jesus Power Assembly of God Church and the Jesus Power Coldwater Foundation. Special guests at the inauguration included esteemed personalities such as the General Overseer of the Assemblies of God Ghana, Dr. Stephen Yenusom Wengam; Bishop Emeritus James Sir of Action Chapel in Ghana; Prophet Nanasey Opoku Sarkodie of Potters City. Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye, Ph.D., of Makers House Chapel International; Pastor Kwadwo Boateng, Senior Pastor of Holy Hill Chapel Assemblies of God. Pastor Tito Adjei, Assistant General Overseer of Assemblies of God Ghana; Dr. Jones Boateng of Deliverance Outreach Ministries and others.
Speaking at the dedication ceremony, Apostle Bismarck Osei Akomea spoke about his spiritual journey and the divine inspiration behind Grace Center. He shared his profound experience of visiting the caves of Engedi in Israel. There, the Biblical story of David saving Saul’s life resonates deeply within him, allowing him to train and empower those whom God calls to ministry, especially those called to service. He said it ignited a burning desire to create a place. Not so blessed.
Grace Center stands as a beacon of hope and empowerment, ready to train and equip those called to God’s service, especially those who lack the financial means to pursue their calling. With a mission to plant churches in rural Ghana and Africa, the center embodies a spirit of compassion, service, and spiritual growth.
The opening of Grace Center is not only a milestone in the visionary journey of Apostle Bismarck Osei Akomea, but also a testament to the enduring legacy of faith, empowerment, and community building in the region. The center opens its doors to those seeking spiritual enlightenment and empowerment, heralding a new chapter in their journey of faith and service in Ghana and beyond.
At this event, the first graduating class of the School of Missiology was also introduced to the public.
Jesus Power School of Ministry and Retreat Center is located on Tema-Aflao Road, near Eno Spot of Korpe Monastery, Dawenya, Accra, Ghana.
