PASADENA, Calif.—The public is invited to attend Spring Into Wellness, a free community health festival held at the Villa Park Community Center and Multipurpose Field, 363 E. Villa St., on Saturday, May 4, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. will be invited. The second annual Spring Into Wellness, presented by Pasadena Public Health Department (PPHD) and local community partners, will feature free food, family-friendly activities, health screenings, and information about resources and services to support wellness.
Spring Into Wellness focuses on various aspects of health and wellness: social, physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, occupational, financial, and environmental. Spring Into Wellness provides resources to make healthy choices, reduce stress, promote positive social interactions, and achieve optimal health.
“Spring Into Wellness will be a festive opportunity for local residents to learn about the programs and services provided by PPHD and our community partners,” said Dr. Ying-Ying Goh, Director of Public Health and Chief Health Officer. There are many community resources available to promote health and well-being. ”
In addition to fun activities, PPHD plans to provide health screenings, children’s activities and free food from local taco trucks.
