Christmas in July is the perfect opportunity to gather friends and family for a feast, and it might also be an idea to try making some of your favourite recipes that traditionally only come around December 25th. Or it could be a chance to try your hand at baking some festive treats, perfect for turning on the oven and warding off the winter chill.
Whatever your purpose, here are some recipes for mid-season celebrations.

“This recipe makes 40 truffles, but don’t be surprised if you get too few to eat in one sitting! Truffles also make great gifts – if you’re ready to part with them!” Kirsten Tibballs said of the recipe, quoting from her book. chocolate.

Quandong Christmas cake

“It’s so easy, just boil everything down and the local ingredients add a punch. This is a cake I make every year and it’s a big hit. You can taste the Australian nuts, muntries, quandons and spices like pepperberries. It really has it all and is the easiest Christmas cake ever to make,” Nonnie Bello says of this Christmas recipe.

“One of my favorite holiday flavors is gingerbread. Full of spices? Molasses? Mmm! I’ve made a gingerbread house or two, but I’ll be honest, gingerbread is primarily a building material. Rather than feeling like cardboard, these gingerbread houses are the best I’ve ever had. They taste like a cross between sticky toffee pudding and carrot cake, not to mention the chocolate cream cheese buttercream is heavenly,” says Mary Berg about these gorgeous cupcakes.
