Providing the best skin care
“I always carry Dermalogica Pre-Cleanse with me. It’s not the most portable product, but it’s an essential step in my cleansing routine after removing my makeup with micellar water and cotton pads. I wear a lot of makeup at festivals because I’m always in front of the camera for work. Even though I’m prone to acne, I still include this step at festivals.”
Pack the right SPF
“For me, SPF is never an afterthought – it’s an essential part of my daily routine, wherever I am. For my face, I use Altruist Sunscreen SPF50. It’s gentle on acne-prone skin, super affordable, and the anti-redness version has a slight green tint that helps soothe sunburn. It’s my secret weapon!”
Drink as much water as possible
“When I go to a festival, I always bring a water bottle. I always carry a 1 liter water bottle with me and refill it multiple times throughout the day. A water bottle helps keep your skin fresh and helps prevent heatstroke and dehydration. It’s easy to forget you’re standing in the sun while watching your favorite band. My favorite water bottle is the Chilli, and the Stojo collapsible water bottle is great, but I also like to have a Camelbak for hiking.”

Get the right vitamins
“I always bring vitamins like probiotics, ginseng, rhodiola and vitamin C to festivals to boost my energy levels and boost my immunity. These help me counter the lack of sleep, alcohol and heavy festival foods. I also have BetterYou B12 spray in my bag because at festivals you often hit a wall and suddenly feel exhausted, and this gives me much more energy throughout the day.”
Opt for multitasking beauty products
“Mini compacts or multi-sticks that can be used as both blush and lipstick are easy to throw in your bag and take with you on the go. I have an RMS compact that’s bronzer, lipstick, blush and highlighter all in one. It keeps me fresh and takes up very little space.”
Don’t forget the body wipes
“If there are showers available at a festival, that’s of course fantastic, but the queues are often long, so I use Fresh Wipes body wipes to clean myself. They’re designed for use all over the body and are antibacterial, so you get a thorough clean and leave feeling and smelling fresh. I wouldn’t go to a festival without them.”
