This week’s formula, Gattefossé’s Bouncy Eye Cream, features a bouncy, hydrating texture that is said to provide instant comfort. Emulium Dermolea MB (INCI: Polyglyceryl-6 distearate (and) Candelilla/Jojoba/Rice Bran Polyglyceryl-3 Ester) has a finely tuned lipid composition and has a soothing effect. procedure: To better disperse Stelkina Natural, heat the water in A1 to 50-60°C in the main container. Disperse for 10 minutes at high shear (Note: If the water is too hot, Stärkina will produce agglomerates that are difficult to disperse. In such cases, use a rotor-stator to disperse and break the agglomerates. can do). Prepare a premix of A2, add to A1, and disperse at high shear for 5 minutes. Heat A1+A2 to 70℃. Prepare oil phase B and heat to 70 °C. Make sure everything is well melted. Proceed to emulse the oil phase B into the aqueous phase A1+A2 for 10 minutes at 70<0>C under high shear (rotor-stator 2500-3000 rpm). Cool with moderate mixing until it reaches 40°C. At below 40 °C, add C in sequence and stir under moderate shear until everything is thoroughly mixed. Finish cooling, check pH and adjust in Phase D. Properties: A light pink cream. pH: 5.3 ± 0.3; Viscosity Brookfield RV (spindle C, speed 5) = 130000mPa.s after approx. 24 hours. > 99.6% naturally derived (ISO 16128).
