My protein shakes taste like ice cream.”
Shannon’s products are indeed nutritious. Shannon said using their products is a great way to start a weight loss program or build muscle. “The benefit of my product is that it improves people’s health,” Shannon says. “It’s an easy way to get your meal in because you get the nutrition of a complete meal in minutes. This shake contains 24 grams of protein and only 300 calories. Protein coffee is both It combines the energy-enhancing and nutritional benefits of an energy drink.”
The cafe is located on East Bridge Street. “We have about 12 seats inside for people who want to linger,” Shannon said. “Some people simply buy drinks and other items ‘to go’. And it works too. ”
Shannon was inspired to start her own nutrition cafe while working at her sister’s cafe in Battle Creek. She decided that’s what she wanted to do for herself in Portland. “I had often thought about becoming a business owner, and when the opportunity came, I decided it was something I could be successful at,” Shannon said.
Shannon has been in business for 18 months. She said the most important thing she has done for her business is leverage her Facebook. “I post photos and nutritional information on Facebook,” she said. “When a customer posts a photo of a drink on this social platform, she gets $1 off the product. This business practice reaches a lot of people and people around the city are learning about my business. You can.”
Shannon said her favorite part of her business is the opportunity to be social with customers. She has fun conversations with people who frequent her cafe, which she said brightens everyone’s day, including her cafe. “We invite you to stop by, take a look at our menu, and enjoy a quick break,” she said. “People leave the cafe in a better mood after trying the products. I love helping people and my cafe gives me the opportunity to do that.” If you are, or just need a boost of energy, I have a way to treat it.” Items can also be ordered in bulk.
