About the Author
Dmitry Yusenko was born in Moldova (then part of the USSR) and received his Master’s in English from the local State University in 1991. He continued his studies at the Institute of World Literature in Moscow, where he received his PhD in 1998 with a thesis on Robert Browning. After six years of study at a private university in Moldova, he moved to the UK, where he worked as a translator and interpreter, and is currently active as a writer. This is his first full-length book that he recommends to his readers. It is based on his experiences in West Africa, gained during visits to Ghana and Togo in 2016, 2017, and 2019. As for the theoretical background, his first book can be seen as an attempt to express his lifelong interest in religion through his philological education.
