Luxury gym operator partners with Dr. Mark Hyman’s health platform Function Health
More than 100 tests offered to inform people about internal health conditions
Results are used to create personalized programs
Equinox has partnered with health platform Function Health to offer 100 comprehensive laboratory tests, giving members critical insights into their internal health as part of their Optimize by Equinox membership.
The program costs US$40,000 per year, which in addition to a gym membership is nearly 70% of the average salary in the United States.
Tests offered include those related to women’s health. Men’s Health; Stress and Aging. Metabolic; blood and thyroid function provide valuable health insights that Equinox’s elite Coachx trainers use to develop personalized programs.

The program is delivered from the operator’s most exclusive location, the E by Equinox Club.
The program will also be available at the new Equinox hotel in Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea, currently under development, and will put Equinox in competition with other high-end carriers such as Core Life.
This is a great direction for the fitness industry to move in. In the UK, mass-market operator Everyone Active offers Everyone Wellness, a membership with access to online doctor appointments, and in Norway, Treningshelse Holding does the same.
