(NewsNation) — Equinox is launching Optimize by Equinox, a $40,000 annual program. The gym claims this program improves overall health and longevity.
The gym partnered with Functional Health to launch what it calls a super-luxury service that combines data and coaching in New York City and Highland Park, Texas, this month.
Built for high-budget “biohackers,” the program offers members a personalized, high-performance lab-tested fitness experience led by health experts in the fields of sports, sleep, medicine, and technology. It is a feature.
Brett Markowitz, CEO and founder of ageRejuvenation Clinics in Tampa and Orlando, Florida, explained to NewsNation the many things fitness enthusiasts can do every day to live longer without buying luxury products.
“Everyone deserves a fair chance in health. If you’re willing to invest in studying, reading, and learning, you can get a lot more without having to pay $40,000 to get those things.” I think we can accomplish that,” he said.
Markowitz added, “Biohacking is a new term they’re using now, but it’s really just taking control of your own health care. How do you stay young? How can I think proactively? And what tools are available to me in the small world I live in?”
Markowitz said you can also do a version of this yourself, but Function Health founder Mark Hyman insists the program is unique and exclusive.
“By combining Equinox’s expertise with Functional Health’s 100+ laboratory testing approach, we are unlocking levels of health and fitness that exceed even those accessible to top physicians and biohackers,” said Hyman. said in a statement.
Equinox is a premium fitness option that gives you access to all 107 locations around the world for $405 per month. Members can use their Health Savings Account to pay for the Optimize Equinox program.
