Brooke Burke wants a “spiritual” wedding.
The 52-year-old star has been engaged to Scott Rigsby, 56, since late 2021, but insists that when they do get married, they will take vows in front of God, their family and friends.
She told Fox News Digital, “I want to say my vows in front of my friends, my family and God, and I want it to be really spiritual and real. So I don’t want to sit in the middle of a long table and not be able to mingle with my guests. I want to sit at multiple round tables. I want to dance. I want to have fun.”
“Maybe I’ll go barefoot!”
However, the former “Dancing with the Stars” host has yet to set a wedding date, explaining that she and Brooke had planned to tie the knot in May but shelved the idea due to busy family life.
She told People magazine: “We wanted to get married in May, but May flew by.”
Brooke shares daughters Neriah, 23, and Sierra, 21, with ex-husband Garth Fisher, and daughter Rain, 16, and son Shaya, 15, with ex-husband David Charvet, while Scott is already father to daughter Lila, 15, and son Levi, 12, from a previous relationship.
Brooke added about her busy schedule, “School, two kids turning 16 and getting their driver’s licenses, Sierra graduating from USC, Nelia was supposed to go on tour, we finished construction on our house in Arizona…”
“I barely had time to catch my breath, let alone plan the party of my life, so I’ve got to get back to planning and get really busy now.”
