In partnership with the Toledo Lucas County Public Library’s Steinem Sisters Collection Talking Circle Club Solace Health & Wellness for a special presentation on reproductive justice.
Reproductive Justice by Solace Health & Wellness will be held at the Maumee Branch Library on Thursday, June 20 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The reproductive justice framework states that we should have the right to have children, the right not to have children, the right to raise our children in safe and sustainable communities, and the right to autonomy over our bodies and health. .

Solace owner Erin Martin will be leading a discussion about reproductive justice here in Lucas County, what it means, where we are, and what we can do.
Solace Health & Wellness is a sexual and reproductive health, wellness, and justice space founded in 2021. The organization is dedicated to reproductive justice education and advocacy. They provide a range of services including nutrition, pregnancy care, mental health, social support and more.
The Steinem Sisters Collection is a collection of feminist books that explore the lives and achievements of women, created to honor Toledo feminist legend Gloria Steinem. The group has a club that is reading the entire collection, and the next meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 3rd from 7pm to 8pm, where we will discuss it. Memory Written by Rita Woods.
