In this interview, Noozhawk spoke with Dawn Flaherty, owner of Detox Depot, to learn more about the services the company offers.
question: What motivated you to start this health and wellness business and what inspired the specific services and products you offer?
answer: My motivation stems from my own health struggles over 30 years ago, when I didn’t know there were alternatives to cure any ailment the body faced.
God designed our bodies to heal as long as the right environment is given, and detoxification is the path to that environment.
That is what I want to share with the world: you are a healer, it is already within you.
There is only 21% oxygen left on Earth, which is what we need most to survive. 21% is not enough to keep our blood pumping efficiently, and it is not enough to keep us healthy or recover if we get sick.
I offer services and products that pump extra oxygen into the body, as well as services to remove inflammation that prevents the body from healing.
Everything we do at Detox Depot is geared towards strengthening your immune system and giving your body what it needs to deal with any illness.
question: Can you outline your company’s unique value proposition and what sets you apart in the competitive wellness market?
answer: Detox Depot is the first and only detox center that utilizes ozone and oxygen therapy to address the body’s needs to heal almost any illness our body may encounter.
What sets us apart is the service we provide, how we provide it, the prices we can offer, and the track record we have from one satisfied customer after another.

We’ve been open for four years and this is only the third time we’ve advertised. We simply didn’t need to. Our customers are repeat customers and they bring their friends and family with them.
question: How do you ensure your services and products are in line with current health trends and consumer needs?
answer: You know you’re on the cutting edge of current trends and consumer needs when you’re offering products and services that keep customers coming back for more. At Detox Depot, there’s no doubt we’re on the right track.
question: What strategies do you employ to maintain high quality standards and consistency across your products?
answer: I am constantly researching, studying, and traveling educationally to stay up to date on the latest techniques in detox strategies. I choose the most effective, safe, and least expensive techniques.
Individuals and families have many things to do in life, and staying or getting healthy shouldn’t be one of them, nor should it require you to take proactive steps or avoid self-care.
question: How do you approach customer feedback and incorporate it into improving your business?
answer: We value customer feedback and receive a lot of it through social media and our point of sale system.
We regularly use our website and social media to publicise the testimonials we receive from our customers.
We also have a customer testimonial booklet in each store so new customers can look at it and see how we have treated other customers.
question: What measures are you taking to ensure the safety and efficacy of your products and services, especially in areas such as ingredient sourcing and service delivery?
answer: If you are in the oxidation therapy business, there are many safety precautions that must be taken when applying these services. Our employees undergo months of training before they are able to perform the duties of operating machines, equipment, and other services.
Since our founding, we have always put safety and effectiveness for our customers first.
The products we carry are also thoroughly researched to ensure that the ingredients are pure and effective.
So far we have a perfect safety record and are extremely capable of raving about how our products and services work.
question: What role do partnerships and collaborations play in your business strategy and how do you select potential partners that align with your brand’s values?
answer: We pride ourselves on supporting local businesses – it’s about building community – and each of our locations has a variety of locally produced products.
question: How do you prioritize sustainability and environmental responsibility in your business operations and product offerings?
answer: Sustainability and environmental responsibility are cornerstones of Detox Depot. Since 2007, our tagline has been “Clean for People and the Planet.”
If we don’t teach people how to use more eco-friendly health products at home, they will continue to re-accumulate toxins in their bodies after they’ve joined us in cleansing.

question: Can you talk about your plans to expand and diversify your health and wellness business in the future?
answer: I have plans to expand but I want to keep it to myself until I can reveal it to the world, which is coming soon!
question: How do you see your business evolving to meet the changing needs and preferences of health and wellness consumers?
answer: Evolution-wise, I am at the top of the “food chain” in the health and wellness industry: I was the first detox center to introduce oxygen therapy.
I continue to research, learn and train in the latest and greatest detoxification methods the world has to offer. Most of my life is dedicated to this.
