WHEELING — At this year’s Ogden Newspaper Wellness Weekend hosted by WVU Medicine, colleagues can inspire one another to take action while celebrating teamwork and camaraderie in the 2024 Corporate Cup Challenge.
Colleagues can work on their health goals during the race weekend, scheduled for May 25th and 26th. Train and bond together for the Ogden Newspaper Half Marathon Classic Walk or Run, his 5K Walk or Run sponsored by WVU Medicine Children, or the Tough as Nails Urban Challenge. Reach your team’s goals or exceed your own limits as presented by your health plan.
Every race is an opportunity to encourage an active lifestyle within your organization. Colleagues support and encourage each other every step of the way, from the first day of training to the moment you cross the finish line.
Make this year a fun event for employers who participate in the Corporate Cup Challenge in two categories: companies with 50 or more employees and companies with fewer than 50 employees. The goal is to make achieving new fitness goals with colleagues fun, easy, and exciting.
The Ogden Newspaper Wellness Weekend, hosted by WVU Medicine, offers something for everyone, regardless of age, pace, or experience. Additionally, the team with the most participants will win a traveling trophy to the next Corporate Cup Challenge.
Employers and employees interested in getting their companies involved can email Race Director Joe Lovell at jlovell@theintelligencer.net to learn more and get started. Businesses can also be provided with a special code for registration. Participants in the Corporate Cup Challenge can sign up for the race weekend online at http://www.ogdenwellnessweekend.com.
