Fitness enthusiasts in Adelaide’s east are gearing up for the arrival of STRONG Pilates, which will soon open in Kensington Park.
@strong_kensingtonpark made the announcement on Instagram, saying: “Get ready Kensington Park… STRONG is finally coming east. Want to see more?”
STRONG Pilates has already taken Adelaide’s fitness scene by storm, with five studios across the city in Keswick, Port Adelaide, Somerton Park, Henley Beach and Modbury, and with the new studio opening, fitness enthusiasts in the east don’t have to travel far anymore.

STRONG Pilates is a fitness phenomenon that uniquely combines Pilates-inspired workouts with elements of cardio and strength training. What makes STRONG so popular is its dual approach, incorporating both strength and cardio training.
Strength training focuses on controlled movements against resistance to activate slow-twitch muscle fibers and improve endurance, while Pilates-inspired exercises on the reformer emphasize slow, deliberate movements to maximise time under tension.
On the ERG side, there is an emphasis on rapid bursts of intensity to stimulate and activate fast-twitch muscles to improve speed and power. This includes cardio HIIT exercises like rowing and cycling to get your heart rate up.
Led by certified trainers, STRONG offers 45-minute sessions that are customized to each client’s needs, making it accessible to everyone.

STRONG was originally founded in Melbourne and has quickly grown to 56 studios across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Canada, Singapore and Indonesia. With plans to expand to the US and beyond, the brand is committed to building super strong people around the world.
If you’re interested in reformer pilates, cardio, strength training or are looking to introduce something new as part of your workout program, get ready to sweat and push your limits at the new STRONG Pilates in Kensington Park.
