A family-run Christchurch wellbeing studio has been nominated for Best Yoga and Pilates Studio at the Muddy Stilettos Awards.
Christchurch’s Bridge Health and Wellbeing has been shortlisted for Best Yoga and Pilates Studio in Dorset, Somerset and Bristol at the coveted Muddy Stiletto Awards 2024.
The Muddy Stilettos Awards spotlight independent lifestyle businesses across the UK and have 21 different categories.
Co-founder and Pilates instructor Louise O’Connell said: “As a family-run business, we are passionate about our local community and helping people in Christchurch and beyond get better, stronger and more fit. We help them feel happy and healthy.” And the body.
“As we celebrate our fifth birthday, winning the title of best yoga and pilates studio in the area would be a great gift, so please vote and help us bring this title back to Dorset.”
The family-run health and wellbeing clinic was nominated for the award by members of the public and, after an initial vote, advanced to the regional final along with four other studios in Sherborne, Lyme Regis and Bath.
BHW offers quality physical therapy, chiropractic treatment, sports massage and rehabilitation services, along with specialist yoga and wellbeing classes within our state-of-the-art gym.
Louise said: “We are so excited to have made it into the final five Muddy Stiletto Pilates studios in our area.
“Thank you to everyone who has nominated or voted for us in the past for taking the time to do so. We truly appreciate your support.”
Voting is completely free and will be open from 1pm on April 18th.
Regional winners will be announced on May 2nd and will automatically advance to the National Muddy Awards.
Louise runs the studio with her husband Paul O’Connell and is hoping people will come in to see the services on offer.
Louise is a Pilates teacher while Paul is a trained physiotherapist.
BHW describes their vision as simple: “Helping people get better, get stronger, be happier and healthier” and are based in Christchurch, just a stone’s throw from the studio. It is named after the famous town bridge.
