Chick-Fil-A Lemonade Deconstructed Bread Recipe

Just as soccer fans are incredibly loyal to their teams and music fans travel far and wide to see their favorite artists perform, Chick-Fil-A fans are extremely loyal to their favorite menu items . In fact, when a fast food chain announces that it’s discontinuing a menu item, people head to social media to make their feelings known loudly. (The chicken salad sandwich passed away quickly!)

This Atlanta, Georgia-based restaurant chain is known for removing some of our favorite menu items before we like them, but to make room for new seasonal options that we dig. However, they are maintaining their main menu. If the classic chicken sandwich, chicken minis, waffle fries, or frosted lemonade were taken off the menu, there would definitely be a revolt.

The Chick-Fil-A team knows that fans are desperately obsessed with certain items in particular, so they’re introducing several ways to make it easier to get your Fil-A fix at home Did. Ask and you shall receive, and of course they said, “With pleasure.”

You can now buy Chick-Fil-A salad dressing in bottles at many supermarkets. You can also download a “cookbook” of dozens of recipes released last fall. In Chick-Fil-A’s recipe archive, you’ll find even more favorite recipes that show you all the different ways to take menu items and remix them into something completely new.

We have been cooking and baking this treasure trove for “research.” What’s one of this collection’s newest obsessions? Tear a lemon and share the bread.

What I like about this lemon bread recipe

We’re all for a good monkey bread recipe, and this recipe offers a variation on the theme that’s perfect for spring or summer with puckery. This recipe cleverly incorporates Chick-Fil-A lemonade, along with fresh lemon zest and juice.

This flavor reminds me a lot of citrus pull-apart bread. southern living Readers think it’s “amazing” and “sure you can’t go wrong,” but admit it’s “a great recipe for special occasions” because it’s “more work, but well worth it.”

Chick-Fil-A’s Lemonade Infused Tear and Share Bread is an easy addition to your morning brunch or dessert menu any time of the year. What’s the secret (besides lemonade)? canned biscuits. Hmm…or I won’t tell grandma!

Tips for sharing Chick-Fil-A’s Lemon Tear Bread at Home

  • Let’s go big. Chick-Fil-A suggests looking for “large biscuits” when you’re in the refrigerator section of the supermarket. We had great success with those listed as “Grands.”
  • Peel before slicing. You’ll need a total of 5 lemons, using all the zest and the juice from 2 citrus fruits. The simplest order of operations is to first peel all the lemons (separate the zest from 2 lemons, 2 lemons, and 1 lemon to use in different parts of the recipe). Next, slice the lemon in two and squeeze the juice. Save the remaining 3 lemons with zest for another use, such as lemon cake with lemon thyme frosting or cast iron chicken piccata. Each requires 1/4 cup lemon juice. Here’s some fun trivia that may come in handy now and later. The average lemon yields 2 to 3 tablespoons of juice.
  • come what’s yours Ade. If you don’t have any Chick-fil-A lemonade left or it’s easily available, make homemade lemonade instead. You only need 1/4 cup, so pour the rest into a glass and enjoy with sweet and sour split bread.
