Secretary of Agriculture Russell Redding tours the market at Duda’s Farm in Brownsville, Fayette County, a participating partner in the Pennsylvania Farmers Market Nutrition Program. Approximately 2 million people in Pennsylvania suffer from hunger, including nearly 500,000 children. The program, part of the Shapiro administration’s efforts to reduce hunger, will provide fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables to low-income seniors and families with children at farm markets across the state.
