This World Health Day, let’s celebrate the wisdom of Ayurveda and empower ourselves to thrive in harmony with nature and ourselves.

Health is one of the most important aspects of human life. As World Health Day approaches, the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda offers insight into a world where people are overwhelmed by modern complexities. Since the pandemic, people have become more conscious of their health. Currently, around 90% of people want to adopt Ayurveda or natural medicine as their first treatment. Ayurveda has become the new health belief and is disrupting all categories of health conscious people today.

Understand the principles of Ayurveda

According to Ayurveda, life is a union of body, sense organs, mind and soul. It is believed that each person has a unique constitution called a dosha. It consists of three basic energies. These doshas govern various physiological and psychological body functions and influence susceptibility to various health problems.

On this World Health Day, Dr. Yamuna, BSc, Guduchi Ayurveda’s chief physician, shares Ayurvedic wisdom on using traditional medicines to treat modern health and skin conditions.

  1. Ayurveda’s role in the complexities of modern health: Today’s new age health challenges have caught everyone in the constant loop of modern health epidemics such as obesity, diabetes, mental health disorders, and numerous skin-related diseases. A sedentary lifestyle, unhealthy diet, and excessive screen time are common causes of these problems. In addition, environmental pollutants such as toxins in food and air further exacerbate the health hazards.
  2. Ayurvedic practice Daily self-massage, yoga, meditation, and the use of Ayurvedic products nourish the body, calm the mind, reduce stress, boost immunity, and provide clear, glowing skin. Consider using products containing Ayurvedic ingredients such as amla, neem, turmeric, and ashwagandha. These particular Ayurvedic ingredients are known for their purifying and rejuvenating properties and can effectively combat various skin ailments.
  3. Beyond skin health Ayurveda offers a comprehensive approach to promoting overall well-being. Ayurveda places great emphasis on the role of diet in maintaining health and preventing disease. Ayurvedic dietary guidelines recommend fresh, seasonal foods that are locally sourced and prepared with compassion and gratitude. According to Ayurveda, each individual’s nutritional needs are influenced by their unique constitution (doshas) and current imbalances.
  4. for example, Vata types may benefit from warm, nourishing foods such as soups, stews, and cooked grains, while Pitta types may benefit from cold, liquid foods such as cucumbers, leafy greens, and sweet fruits. It can grow with the food you provide. Kapha types may benefit from light, spicy, stimulating foods to relieve heaviness and sluggishness. Ayurvedic dietary guidelines promote optimal health and well-being by aligning with natural rhythms and choosing foods that support digestion and vitality.

conclusion

Dr. Yamuna BS We concluded that Ayurveda is known for offering a treasure trove of treatments and practices that help restore balance and promote overall health. By incorporating Ayurvedic principles into our lives, we can embark on a transformational journey towards holistic health, glowing skin, and deep well-being.this world health day, Celebrate the wisdom of Ayurveda and empower us to thrive in harmony with nature and ourselves.
