- 1 large onion, peeled and diced
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 2/3 cup Dale’s Seasoning
- 1 cup ketchup
- 6 tablespoons brown sugar
Putting it all together
- To make Dale’s Baby Back Ribs, start by preheating your oven to 400 degrees.
- Next, cut the rack of ribs in half and place in a large pot.
- Add enough water to cover the ribs and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Remove from heat and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Coat a medium sized frying pan with nonstick cooking spray and place over medium heat.
- Sauté the onion and garlic for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add Dale’s Seasoning, ketchup and sugar and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the ribs from the water.
- Separate the ribs between the bones and place in a shallow baking dish.
- Add half a cup of water from the pot to the sauce and stir well.
- Discard any remaining water.
- Pour sauce over both sides of ribs.
- Bake, uncovered, basting with sauce occasionally, until ribs are tender, 50 to 60 minutes.
Dale’s Grilled Corn
Yield: 6 servings | Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 25 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes

Whether you choose the ribs, burgers, or anything else mentioned above as your main dish, you’re sure to need a mouthwatering side dish to go with it, and nothing beats fresh, sizzling corn in the summer!
Things necessary
- 3 tablespoons Dale’s Seasoning
- 6 ears of corn (with husks)
Putting it all together
- Heat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375 to 425 degrees) and carefully peel a little more than half of the husk off each ear before grilling the corn.
- Remove as many silk threads as possible without peeling the shell. Pull the shell up.
- Place the corn on the grill and cover, turning it 1/4 every 5 minutes until the husks are charred, about 20 minutes total. (If the grill has any hot spots, move the cobs around to ensure even cooking.) Remove the corn from the grill and set aside until cool enough to handle.
- Once the corn has cooled, peel the husks completely, but do not remove them. Turn the husks over to form a handle. Return the corn to the grill and brush the ears with the Dales. Turn the corn a quarter turn every 30 seconds and brush with more mixture, until the kernels start to caramelize and brown, about 2 minutes total. Serve immediately.
