When Cara Delevingne started class at her local Pilates class on Tuesday, there was something quite familiar about her.
The model and actress is currently on stage as Sally Bowles in a new interpretation of the iconic musical Cabaret, making her theatrical debut at the Kit Kat Club at London’s Playhouse Theatre.
And she appeared to be wearing the exact same gray tracksuit she wore as she left a fitness studio in London on Sunday night.
Delevingne, 31, continued the theme of sorts by wearing a pair of similarly comfortable brown UGG boots and a beanie perched on her head.
The British star last wore the outfit after two performances on Sunday, where she was also seen taking selfies with enthusiastic fans waiting by the stage door.
Delevingne took over the role of Bowles after Rebecca Lucy Taylor, also known as Self-Esteem, completed her run of the Kander & Ebb musical. The musical centers on Berlin’s underground club scene during the Jazz Age and the rise of Nazi Germany.
Delevingne has already made a name for herself in the acting world, appearing in films such as Anna Karenina, Paper Towns, Suicide Squad and Tulip Fever, but Cabaret is her first film. This will be his West End debut.
Cara, who plays the nightclub singer made famous by Liza Minnelli in the 1972 film version, is following in the footsteps of Jesse Buckley, who previously played the role and was nominated for an Oscar.
She stars as the host in this iconic play, co-starring Olivier Award winner Luke Treadaway.
Speaking ahead of her exciting new role, Kara said, “There are no words to describe the excitement of having to return home to make my stage debut in such an iconic role.”
“I am so inspired by previous productions around the world and by the amazing actors who have played Sally in this production in the West End. I can’t wait to join this wonderful cast and production. .”
Delevingne remains in London despite losing her $7 million mansion in Los Angeles in a devastating fire in March.
No one was injured, but an electrical leak sparked a raging fire that consumed 8,000 square feet of the Studio City property.
The model initially revealed the news of the incident on her Instagram page, while believing her two cats had died in the fire.
“My heart is broken today. I can’t believe it. Life can change in the blink of an eye. So cherish what you have,” she wrote in a now-deleted post. I wrote in a story post.
However, after learning that her beloved pets had been rescued, Delevingne shared an update with her fans: “They’re alive!!” Thank you to all the firefighters. ”
