Lexington City Schools proudly announces the appointment of Caitlin Brown as Interim Director of School Nutrition, effective immediately.
Ms. Brown brings more than 10 years of dedicated nutrition experience to her new role, having previously served as Assistant Director of School Nutrition within the district. Her deep-rooted commitment to student welfare and her proven expertise in promoting healthy eating habits make her the perfect candidate for this important position.
Caitlin Brown expressed her gratitude for the opportunity and said, “I am honored to take on the role of Interim Director of School Nutrition for Lexington City Schools. As interim director, Brown will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the school nutrition program, including menu development, meal preparation, and compliance with federal regulations. Additionally, he will actively engage with school administrators, teachers, and community stakeholders to advance nutrition education initiatives and promote the overall health of students.

Caitlin Brown holds an Associate of Arts degree from Davidson Davie Community College in Thomasville, North Carolina. She is a Certified Custody Manager with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and a proud member of the School Nutrition Association. Brown is familiar with related software programs such as Meals Plus, Titan, and other platforms essential to managing school nutrition programs.
