Britney Spears’ ex-husband Sam Asghari posted a smug “life update” in a new Instagram photo on Thursday, amid new concerns about the singer’s mental health.
The Hot Seat actor, 30 – who recently reconciled with the Toxic songstress nine months after splitting – posed shirtless while hiking with his dog by his side.
He also wore gray sweatpants and white sneakers secured with laces.
As a finishing touch, the media personality topped her head with a black printed hat and wore shades to protect her eyes from the bright sun.
Sam also flashed a cheerful smile as he took a quick snap while taking a break on a quiet dirt path surrounded by hills.
Some social media users slammed the actor for making the post amid concerns for Britney’s mental and physical health.
“You posted this right after Britney’s post,” one follower typed. “Great,” one said, while another added, “This was strategic.”
Ms Asghari’s latest photo was released after Britney was seen barefoot outside the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles with paramedics early Thursday morning, sparking concerns of a “mental health crisis”.
Spears later broke her silence and said she twisted her ankle after trying to “jump” on the iconic landmark in the room.
The star also claimed that he was “framed” by his mother, Lynn Spears, for continuing to tell the truth about what happened as he was escorted from the Chateau Marmont by paramedics.
The superstar was in tears as he narrated two Instagram videos showing off his “twisted” right ankle, which was painful and swollen.
