Brighton-based company Mindful Remedies’ products are designed to help address issues such as anxiety, stress, low mood, self-confidence, sleep disorders and motivation.
Lucy Edwards founded the company after discovering Bach flower remedies during her struggle with Covid-19 and finding them to help her recover from both the debilitating fatigue and health concerns she had experienced since contracting the virus.
She says she was so amazed by the dramatic effects of the treatment that she decided to train to become a practitioner and set up Mindful Remedies to raise awareness and help others struggling with their emotional health.
Lucy is now a registered Bach Flower Practitioner with the Bach Centre.
She said: “I wanted to provide the knowledge of the Bach Flower Remedy System, as well as the tools to help people narrow down which essences to choose, at an affordable price, and help people create their own personalized bottle.”
“With these treatments, acute mood swings should subside within a few days, but long-term problems may take longer.
“After a few weeks, users will notice a change in their emotions, smile more, feel more relaxed and confident, have more energy and notice stronger intuition.”
This complementary approach to health has been used for emotional healing since the 1930s, when Dr. Edward Bach discovered its benefits and created the Flower Remedies system.
Today it is still used by millions of people around the world who want an easy way to deal with everyday problems.
There are 38 flower and plant based remedies, each supporting a different emotion.
Lucy says the treatment, which is taken by placing a few drops under the tongue or in a glass of water, is “totally natural, gentle and safe” for all ages and to use alongside other medications.
She also offers online consultations for those seeking more expert advice and a sounding board.
