Recently, several readers asked me about my thoughts on the upcoming solar eclipse. Almost everyone has heard of the total solar eclipse on April 8th. This solar eclipse will cross North America, passing through Mexico, the United States, and Canada. A total solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the sun and the Earth, completely blocking the sun’s face. The sky darkens as if at dawn or dusk. Questions that many people speculate about include events such as when the planets align or when there is unusual activity in the sky and whether it is God trying to convey a message of warning to us. Masu.
First of all, let me say that I am not an expert in astronomy, astrophysics, astronomy, or cosmology. I respect science, but I don’t agree that it all started in isolation. Also, I haven’t spent years studying astrology (which means small animal cycles or circles), but I know that all celestial bodies, including constellations, can influence human events or be directly involved in human events. We also recognize that many people believe in this ancient philosophy. I am a theologian and my worldview about God and life is based on the Bible. Be aware of the amazing order and precision of our Earth, Moon, and Sun, which exist as declarations of God’s infinite power and authority, no matter how you view them. “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shews the works of God.” Psalm 19:1.
What I want to emphasize today is spiritual discernment. We all have opinions about everything, especially when it comes to religion and politics. Solar eclipses are no exception. My guess or your opinion doesn’t matter. What matters is what God says. It was always like that. I wish I could proclaim God’s specific message to you regarding this eclipse, but honestly, God is simply reminding us that He is Almighty and in complete control. I feel like I’m just letting it happen. Worship God in wonder of who He is as the Architect of all things, including the universe (Isaiah 40:26). God offers grace, mercy, and love to all people today. We pray that many will accept Christ as their Lord before it is too late. There is a world of imagination out there where you can read what everyone is thinking from now until next Monday, but ask God to give you a personal revelation about this.
Solar eclipses have inspired fear and awe among civilizations throughout history, from the Aztecs to ancient Hinduism. They are also associated with some major religious events, such as the darkness that accompanied Jesus’ crucifixion. Mark 15:33 says, “And when the sixth hour came, there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.” Will there be signs in heaven before Christ returns? absolutely! Acts 2:20 says, “The sun will turn to darkness and the moon to blood before the day of the Lord comes, a great and glorious day.” Also read Luke chapter 21. Is the April 8th solar eclipse the day Jesus returns? I would say no because the Bible explains that certain things must happen before the Second Coming. Is it a harbinger of judgment on the world due to their rebellion? probably. I believe that God is always warning us to turn away from our evil ways, but it is only by His grace that we have a second chance. I believe God speaks through signs and wonders, and I believe there is a way to listen to the Holy Spirit as he guides us into all truth, but I believe God speaks through signs and wonders, and I believe there is a way to listen to the Holy Spirit as he guides us into all truth, but the still small voice of God. We must draw near to God in order to hear.
That said, while it is common human nature to be superstitious about cosmic events like blood moons, this does not mean that paranormal or supernatural events are occurring. Solar eclipses occur naturally when objects are moving around each other. Total solar eclipses are very common, occurring somewhere on Earth approximately once every 18 months. Partial solar eclipses occur several times a year, while total lunar eclipses occur almost every year in most parts of the world. Since Jesus spoke in Matthew 24, there have been thousands of total, partial, solar, and lunar eclipses. None of them seem to have had any significance for end-time Bible prophecies. We need God’s wisdom and discernment in all things and not be guided by emotions.
